Thanks for the honest review...I actually enjoyed this one to tell you the truth :)samantha.1020https://www.blogger.com/profile/04124614710493747821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1787660033880172725.post-23417609590617698822011-11-14T02:44:36.687-04:002011-11-14T02:44:36.687-04:00I think you just chose the wrong one - there are p...I think you just chose the wrong one - there are plenty of adult urban fantasy titles out there. I'd suggest Hounded by Kevin Hearne which was my favourite new series this year. I'd also recommend Jim Butcher's Dresden Files series, Kim Harrisons Hollows series or Faith Hunter's Jane Yellowrock series
I hope you give the genre another try!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1787660033880172725.post-90726797881621467982011-11-13T00:50:18.536-04:002011-11-13T00:50:18.536-04:00The only urban fantasy I tried was Patricia Briggs...The only urban fantasy I tried was Patricia Briggs' The Mercedes Thompson Series - Moon Called was the first one and that's the only one I read. I read it before blogging, before knowing urban fantasy is so popular. I just saw it at the library and thought it sounded interesting. I am not against vampires, werewolves type of story, but I want something different than the usual. Not a bad book, just not really into urban fantasy. I think it's quite popular as there are now 6 books. It is YA I think. Maybe I should see if there are non YA urban fantasy. I just feel too old lol.christa @ mental foodiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06272799752169958460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1787660033880172725.post-75384725014597942682011-11-12T23:57:18.699-04:002011-11-12T23:57:18.699-04:00YA is tough for me too for the exact same reason. ...YA is tough for me too for the exact same reason. You might give those a try if you are looking to try the genre again from an adult aspect.Jen | Book Denhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06512363115012929445noreply@blogger.com
