Welcome to Tea Time with Marce
Happy Easter weekend for those that celebrate.
This week's question comes from Christina who blogs at The Paperback Princesses. She asks:
"If you find a book you love, do you hunt down other books by the same author?"
I love this question, thanks Christina.
I prefer stand alone's so when I find a book I love I definitely look up more by the author. I actually started a Challenge which I host called - I Want More Challenge and this is what it counts, reading a book by an author that impressed you once and to read more by them, which is not part of a series.
These are the authors I want to read more by this year:
Kristin Hannah
Lisa Unger
Pamela Samuels Young
Sam Hayes
I look forward to networking this weekend and meeting new bloggers.
I love to explore works by authors I've read and enjoyed too.
ReplyDeleteI was hopping through and I love your challenge.

ReplyDeleteStopping by from the blog hop. Most folks have the same answer that they do look for other books by an author...it sure is neat to get ideas for new authors. Love this week's question.
ReplyDeleteStop by my blog if you like to see my answer and for a book giveaway.
Giving away: Dance Lessons by Aine Greaney.

I definitely agree with you on Kristin Hannah. I read Night Road and it was amazing (kinda reminds me of Jodi Picoult's writing style); can't wait to read more of her books!

Absolutely, I always look for more work from them. I find I'm always dragging myself into series though.
ReplyDeleteI'll be picking an E author for May so we don't skip any letters Marce. Hope all is well with you :)
