Top Ten Auto-Buy Authors

The Top Ten Tuesday weekly meme is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

I have been reflecting the last month on things that I have loved and blogging was within the top two things.  Recommending books has been the topic of lots of discussion and it made me say 'try' to make it part of your life again, so here I am.  A few blogging friends are still at it, the simple pleasure of the blogging life,.  I still know some of you.  BIG SMILES

Today's discussion Top Ten Auto-Buy Authors

It was very easy to come up with my Top Five but I did do a list of Ten.  I look forward to networking and visiting your pages too.

Andrea Kane

Her Forensics Instincts series is amazing, I have to read it as soon as it's released

Mary Higgins Clark

My very 1st favourite author that made me love the suspense, mystery, thriller genre.

JT Ellison

Another series, especially the Taylor Jackson series I love

Lisa Genova

Her book Still Alice is a forever favourite, such an amazing read.  I have enjoyed all of them.

Kristin Hannah

Depending on my mood I could choose a different favourite, what an amazing author.

BA Paris

I would consider a new author but WOW, I'm sold, read them all so far.

Sam/Samantha Hayes

This is my favourite of hers, but I definitely did a marathon to go back and read her others.

Chris Bohjalian

I have had some of the best discussions on his books.  Trans-Sister Radio WOW

Rupi Kaur

I really want to see her perform live.  Only two books but definitely an Auto-Buy for new.

Calia Read - Honorable Mention, still new to me

I am working my way through but these two books, mercy.

I look forward to seeing your top ten, if you are a thriller, suspense, mystery fan, definitely give me your list please.

  2. I don't have any thriller authors on my list, but Stephen Chbosky is publishing a thriller this fall called Imaginary Friend! It looks like it's going to be excellent. :)

  3. Hey there! Nice to see a post from you. I've read books by several of these authors and then have several more of them to try. Always like a good thriller, but I felt the same as you about the books by Lisa Genova. Hope your life is going well.

  6. I have read two books by Kristin Hannah Winter Garden and Angel Falls. While they are not particularly my genre, I did enjoy them.

Don't know any of the others but I'm always happy to check out new authors.

  7. Wow, welcome back Marci! Been so long since we chatted. I remember when I was fairly new to book blogging and you ran a suspense thriller reading event-- do you remember that? Was when my blog was only about mystery suspense books, and your little girl was so little :) anyway, Welcome back.

  8. I love Rupi Kaur. I had never read anything by her when my sister-in-law got me The Sun and Her Flowers as a Christmas present. I'm super glad she picked it because I have now read both Kaur's books and am eagerly awaiting a third.
