I'm Currently reading

I loved Firefly Lane and wanted to read another by Kristin Hannah and was giving the opportunity for the ARC.  It is great so far.

and

Christa recommended this one, it is really helping with me understand the medical crisis with my brother more and just how to communicate with him right now. It is still touch and go, a scary sad situation for my family.

What will be next.....

I really have no idea, i'm a mood reader, it will be from my Kindle though, i'll probably go for a thriller.

I hope everyone has an amazing week, I look forward to networking with you.

  2. So sorry about your brother, Marce. I am glad the book is helping.

I put in a hold at the library for Night Road, so hopefully I will get to read it soon. I will watch for your review....

  4. I'm glad My Stroke of Insight is helping you - it was just an okay memoir for me (parts of it were very interesting and I wish she'd elaborated more, but other parts were a bit boring / too academic... well this is from memory anyway). All the best to your family.

I'm definitely a mood reader, that's why I can't make a list of what I'd read next (unless it's a ARC review with a deadline...)

  7. The Night Road cover is very cool! Hope you continue to enjoy it.

Thanks for stopping by. And, yes, you're right, it's amazing how much you can get done in the corner.

I hope you enjoy We Have Always Lived in the Castle a lot more than I did. It was a big black hole for me. Sucked up reading time and gave nothing back....

  12. I just finished reading 365 Thank Yous by John Karlik. As result of reading his story, I have sent 2 thank you notes in the last 3 days to 2 ladies whom I admire and have been important in my life journey.

  13. Kristin Hannah is one of my favorite authors, I will wait for your review to make up my mind. I hope it isn't anything weird, or full of ghosts, I hate those kind of books.

This week I am reading Janet Evanovich's "Finger Lickin' Fifteen" one that has been on my TBR pile for awhile.

  15. After reading various glowing reviews for Speak, I couldn't wait to read it. I guess my expectations were a bit high because I thought it was just okay (I think I'm in the minority here). I too loved Firefly Lane! It's permanently listed on my recommendation list. I'm on the wait list for Night Road. It looks good. I haven't read her older novels yet though. I may read them eventually.

  23. This was a great short read. It was very easy to read and very easy to get into story wise. I was very inspired by events that happened in the book and left it with a new outlook on what is really important in life.
