I just completed
I'm Currently reading
I loved Firefly Lane and wanted to read another by Kristin Hannah and was giving the opportunity for the ARC. It is great so far.
and
Christa recommended this one, it is really helping with me understand the medical crisis with my brother more and just how to communicate with him right now. It is still touch and go, a scary sad situation for my family.
What will be next.....
I hope everyone has an amazing week, I look forward to networking with you.
I'm glad to see you're enjoying Night Road. I'll be looking for your review.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your brother, Marce. I am glad the book is helping.
ReplyDeleteI put in a hold at the library for Night Road, so hopefully I will get to read it soon. I will watch for your review....
I loved Speak. I will have to check out your review. I haven't read any Kristin Hannah books yet but I really want to.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
I'm glad My Stroke of Insight is helping you - it was just an okay memoir for me (parts of it were very interesting and I wish she'd elaborated more, but other parts were a bit boring / too academic... well this is from memory anyway). All the best to your family.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely a mood reader, that's why I can't make a list of what I'd read next (unless it's a ARC review with a deadline...)
I did not do a meme on the reading week but I just started D H Lawrence's Women in Love.
ReplyDeleteI have just completed "THe Villa In Italy" by Elizabeth Edmondson. Yet to decide which book to read yet. So many pending in my list :P
ReplyDeleteThe Night Road cover is very cool! Hope you continue to enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. And, yes, you're right, it's amazing how much you can get done in the corner.
I hope you enjoy We Have Always Lived in the Castle a lot more than I did. It was a big black hole for me. Sucked up reading time and gave nothing back....
Sorry about your brother. Glad to hear the book is helping. That's my book club's March book so I'll be starting it this week as well.
ReplyDeleteNight Road looks great- must add it to my tbr list.
ReplyDeleteSorry to read about your brother- hope the book continues to help.
I preordered Night Road, and can't wait to read it! Hope you enjoy your books.
ReplyDeleteHere's MY MONDAY MEMES POST
I used to read Kristen Hannah all the time. Definitely time to pick up and catch up on her books.

I just finished reading 365 Thank Yous by John Karlik. As result of reading his story, I have sent 2 thank you notes in the last 3 days to 2 ladies whom I admire and have been important in my life journey.
ReplyDeleteI need to start Night Road soon :)
ReplyDeleteKristin Hannah is one of my favorite authors, I will wait for your review to make up my mind. I hope it isn't anything weird, or full of ghosts, I hate those kind of books.
ReplyDeleteThis week I am reading Janet Evanovich's "Finger Lickin' Fifteen" one that has been on my TBR pile for awhile.
I haven't read any books by Hannah but always read good things about them. I was sorry to read about your brother, I'm glad the book is helping you understand. Have a fun reading week! Thanks for stopping by mine!
ReplyDeleteAfter reading various glowing reviews for Speak, I couldn't wait to read it. I guess my expectations were a bit high because I thought it was just okay (I think I'm in the minority here). I too loved Firefly Lane! It's permanently listed on my recommendation list. I'm on the wait list for Night Road. It looks good. I haven't read her older novels yet though. I may read them eventually.
ReplyDeleteI have not read Speak yet, but really want to. I am looking forward to Night Road by Kristin Hannah.
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
I really enjoyed Speak, it's an excellent book. I need to read Night Road. It's been sitting in my pile for awhile now.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to try reading My Stroke of Insight too! There are nights I just can't sleep, even now. I've been looking for some lit to help me through.
ReplyDeleteI really want to read SPEAK...
ReplyDeleteI've heard really good things about Speak, I'll have to read your review!
ReplyDeleteSpeak was such a great book. I enjoyed your review!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by my blog & following! You've been reading some great books, ones I've either read or want to. I'm a new follower :)
ReplyDeleteThis was a great short read. It was very easy to read and very easy to get into story wise. I was very inspired by events that happened in the book and left it with a new outlook on what is really important in life.
