Reading and more reading but reviews eek

Sheila over at Book Journey has an incentive for networking so go over and have fun while continuing to add to your 2012 Wishlist.

Friends, I am not doing good in the review department, I am 3 behind.  I know some of you may not think that is bad, but I read one book a week and usually write my reviews right after I complete one so this new habit is not good, I can't imagine my reviews being good enough, sigh.

I need to write reviews for The Prophet (Book 3) by Amanda Stevens, Club Shadowlands (Book  1) by Cherise Sinclair and In the Belly of Jonah by Sandra Brannan.

I just completed - review to come this week, a 4 star read

I reviewed Primal here, amazing thriller, a 5 star read

I also reviewed Attorney Client Privilege, a 4 star read

I'm currently reading - fascinating so far

What is up next..... I have no idea, i'm such a mood girl.  Peculiar Children has been on my TBR list next a couple of weeks now.

I also did a post about the Top Ten books I want to read this year. Go here to see my list.

  1. I feel the same way in terms of reviews! I am two behind, but I always try to write them within 24 hours of finishing a book. I hope you can get caught up!

  2. :) Ha, the reviews for me are way way way behind. Love reading but talking about what I liked and didn't about the book??? meh... :)

    Have a lovely reading week!

  3. Enjoy your books. Two weeks ago I had to take a break from this meme. Our one year old tuxedo cat had gone missing. It took us ten days to find her. Please come see what I'm reading now.

  4. I gave up on catching up on the ones I'd missed so far. Maybe I'd only do those worth reviewing... I'm slowly, slowly reading. Since I am reading much less, maybe it'd be easier to start from scratch so to speak.

  5. I'll be very excited to see your review on January First. Sometimes we read faster than we can review, but that is life. Enjoy your week!

  6. I'm in the same boat with reviews, so I feel your pain. The reading is a lot more fun than the reviewing, isn't it?

  7. Can't wait to read your review of in the belly of Jonah. I have the three books waiting to be read, just haven't got round to them yet.

  8. Love the cover for In the Belly of Jonah! And I'm about 2 reviews behind too. I normally don't even start a book before I write up my thoughts!

  9. January First sounds amazing, I hope you like it! And I'm behind in my reviews too, though I read about 5 books a week, so my goal is to write 2/week.
    Here's what I'm reading

  12. I don't like being behind on reviews either so I feel your pain. I like to write them as soon as I finish a book so that I don't lose my thoughts..I don't take notes while reading. (Maybe I should!)

I read January First, it was definitely fascinating!

  13. I am behind too and I hate it. I have been battling a cold that some days it was hard to string 2 words together let alone a whole review. lol I seem to be better this week so I hope to catch up.

Have a great week. You will get the reviews done soon I am sure.

  14. I've been able to keep up this year with short thoughts on some books that I post on What Are You Reading?. I read too many books to do a single review for each book. Hope you get yourself caught up.

  15. It seems I'm always behind on reviews myself. There's just bnever enough time.
The cover of In the Belly of Jonah is so creepy!

  17. It's so nice to just pick up whatever book looks good. Good luck getting those reviews written - I have a few to catch up on myself!

  18. I'm pretty sure that I have In the Belly of Jonah on my shelves as well so I'm eager to hear your thoughts on it! I think that January First sounds quite interesting...I hope you enjoy it :)

  19. I read and reviewed January First a few weeks back, gut wrenching and I was blown away by Michael's honesty as cringeworthy as it sometimes was.
*Sigh* I feel your review pain, I think I'm 4 or 5 behind, gets kind of overwhelming always playing catch up lol
Have a great week and good luck gettin gcaught up :)
