Top Ten Books I Want to Read Before Year End
I am a mood reader so we will see. I read approx 1 book a week and have 3 review books planned.
I look forward to networking with you. Do you have a favourite from my list?
My 14yrr old dd read the Fault In Our Stars and loved it. Man you have what looks like an awesome list! I myself haven't read any, but Deaver"s sounds great, I want to read Miss Peregrine, Ten sounds great, I so want to read both of Hillier's. January First is a heartbreaking story, I saw it on one of the news shows. This kid is just fried and I have no clue how her parents are surviving.
ReplyDeleteFinished Gone Girl, and while I couldn't decide who I disliked more, her or him, I loved the story.
Paula
Can't wait for your review. I hated her so him for sure.
DeleteThe Bone Collector - love Jeffery Deaver!
ReplyDeleteFrom what I've read In the Belly of Jonah is supposed to be pretty good too.
That's a great list! Set aside time when you start January First - you won't want to put it down.
ReplyDeleteJan 1st has been screaming at me so I think that is end of Oct.
DeleteThe Bone Collector and In the Belly of Jonah are on my list too! Hard to believe that it is already October *sigh*
ReplyDeleteTo many books to little time. Well actually i'm not really complaining about to many books :-)
DeleteI've read Creep but that's it... sounds like you have some great thrillers planned. I want to read a couple of these "eventually" though I do own a copy of Riggs and Green's books.
ReplyDeleteI agree on many of these, especially Ten and January First. Both look great!
ReplyDeleteOi vey. I have so many I'd like to finish by the end of the yr. I'd heard good things about John Green but I've never read anything from him. I'd like to.
ReplyDeleteYou can do it! Fault in Our Stars is totally a one-sitting read.
ReplyDeleteI love your list!!!!
ReplyDeleteMiss Peregrine is fantastic. I loved it!
I want to read The Bone Collector and January First so bad.
Creep sounds fabulous.
I have In the Belly of Jonah (+ the other two) staring at me from the shelves!
The Boy in the Suitcase and Invisible Murders peek at me from my ereader wondering when there turn will come.
I am Half Sick of Shadows is great and a FUN Christmas read!
Ten sounds fabulous, too!
I don't like John Green or legal thrillers but 8/10 get thumbs up from me ;-D
Yay! Nice list.
ReplyDeleteI tried Ten recently and sadly couldn't get past the slow start. Here's something I never say: I wanted the slaying to begin. ;)
I will be trying Peregrine very soon.
:)
Great choices! I want to read Miss Peregrine myself.
ReplyDeleteI want to read Invisible Murders, The Fault in our Stars and Miss Peregrine too!
ReplyDeleteOooh, definitely prioritize The Fault in Our Stars and Miss Peregrine! I loved both of those books so much (albeit for VERY different reasons). I've been curious about Ten myself, but my TBR is already huge. I need to stop buying books!
ReplyDeleteJohn Green is definitely on my list and Miss Peregrine as well. Most of the others are new to me, with the exception of Bone Collector. I need to get going in that series!
ReplyDeletePsssst! The Flavia de Luce book was really good. Really, I think the series gets better with each book.

I've read the Fault in Our Stars. I absolutely loved it, and it made me bawl. It's one of those books that really stick with you. I've since read John Green's Looking for Alaska, which I also recommend.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
I feel like this is one of those quizzes, which book does not belong with the others. ;) I had to chuckle when I saw The Fault in Our Stars included. Good book though. I'm a book behind on Flavia de Luce--need to read that before I can start Half Sick of Shadows.
ReplyDeletedid I see somewhere that there will be a sequel to Peregrine?
You are good Trish, it is so unlike me but there is always one that I am willing to try from the 'hype' as long as it was recommended from a blogger that enjoys similar genres.
DeleteYour comment made me smile, notice it is the last on the list, lol
I want to read a few of those too, but I've only read the Bone Collector (loved it).
ReplyDeleteOut of that list, you absolutely must read The Fault in Our Stars. It is by far one of the most amazing books of the year. Have fun!
