It's Monday but I need to write reviews, eek

Book Date now hosts It's Monday What Are Your Reading?  The meme that we use to share what we read this past week and what our plans are for the upcoming week.  It's a great way to see what others are reading and add to your own To Be Read List.

I am 3 behind in reviews, I know for others this is not a lot but it is for me.  I definitely want to do 2 out of the 3.

Currently reading - remember my post about reading the 1st five chapters sample and teasing myself..... I didn't realise it wasn't released but I'm loving it so far, worth the wait, so intense.

I need to review - good but took a little long to finally get to the point, unsure of my feedback yet, but I am thinking 3 1/2 stars.

I also need to read - it is my least favourite by her so far, I have read them all, a favourite author.

I need to read this for my book club in September, but so not my kind of book.

I am also reading Strala Yoga.  I am honoured to be a Strala Yoga Guide and so happy for Tara releasing another book.

Have a great week.

  1. I love the fact that being part of a book club means sometimes being pushed out of my reading comfort zone...even if it sometimes means having to force myself to finish books that aren't exactly my cup of tea!

  2. I'm behind on reviews too but have finally come to terms that I'll never be caught up. It sounds like The Woman in Cabin 10 doesn't live up to its hype.

  3. Ugh, I hate being behind on reviews. It stresses me out way more than it should. I hope you can get caught up.

  4. I loved Euphoria. Sorry it's not your kind of book. I liked Cabin 10. I'll have to pick up Behind Closed Doors. Looks like a good one. Enjoy!

  5. I have a review to write too. I usually write right after I finish reading but got sidetracked today. I will write before I start reading my next book. Here is my weekly report. Happy reading!

  6. Thanks to you I'm dying to get my hands on Behind Closed Doors. Since you'll probably be finished long before I get my hands on it, I look forward to your thoughts on it.

  7. I am behind in reviews too. Also three, I think. I keep hoping I can make time for writing ,but it hasn't happened yet. :-(

I hope you end up liking Euphoria despite your reservations about it. It sounds like it could be interesting--although the mention of a love triangle in the description on Goodreads is of-putting.

I've been hearing good things about Behind Closed Doors. I am glad to hear you are enjoying it.

  9. It's so easy to fall behind on book reviews - I try not to focus on reviewing every individual book, but at least share my thoughts in some way in the form of mini review or even just a little snippet of thoughts in an end of month wrap. I hope you catch up soon, as I'm sure you'll feel better for it.

The Woman in Cabin 10 is going to be read by me this month.

    Happy reading!
