Teaser Tuesday (R Rated)
The eagles who soar through the sky are at rest
And the creatures who crawl, run, and creep.
I know you're not thirsty. That's bullshit.
Stop lying.
Lie the f**k down, my darling, and sleep.
Review - 5 Tea Time Perfection
Laugh out loud funny. This is the perfect daddy bedtime story. Moms will also have a laugh for sure. There are 13 pages in this story book. It is the bed time hell for daddy and all the thoughts that go through his head when trying to put kid to bed, lmao.
This will make some parents angry, uncomfortable etc, you must have a sense of humour to read this. There is cursing on every page.
LOL! I imagine a lot of parents are Amen-ing the first book.
ReplyDeleteHere is my teaser
LOL... That brings back memories, since I had five children.
ReplyDeleteI heard about this book on the news last evening, They said it is not a book you read to your children. I'm sure a lot of people will be offended, but, if so, I say, don't read it.
Haha, that is my favorite quote from the whole book! I love it, especially the reading that was done by Samuel L. Jackson, too funny. I'm sure a lot of parents won't like this but it's obviously not aimed at kids, it's aimed at the adults. I have a 3 year old and I can certainly admit to thinking this sometimes...just go to sleep! Definitely will be buying this book for myself just to have because I love it!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I really want to read this one!
ReplyDeleteLOL

Haha Does seem like a funny book! This is definitely not for children though.
ReplyDeleteBeen hearing a lot about this book, so I am happy to see an excerpt. Thanks for sharing this. If you get a chance, my teaser is here.
ReplyDeleteI read this a few weeks ago. I don't have kids yet so I can't sympathize but I will definitely be picking this one up in a few years. Great teaser.

I've heard a lot about this one. Not how I would phrase things...but I certainly understand the sentiments.
ReplyDeleteI'm running late today. Here's my TT: http://myreadersblock.blogspot.com/2011/06/teaser-tuesdays_21.html
What a wonderful teaser! Wanna know more!
ReplyDeleteHere is my Teaser Tuesday: The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger post!
LOL
ReplyDeleteMr. Whimsy just bought this for his dad.
Sounds hysterical.
I want to read this one, too! I'm sure I can relate to every single sentiment to a T. I didn't say the curse words out loud to my kids--but I can tell you some nights they were DEFINITELY in my head. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this book. I have a 4 year old myself, by the way. This is great humor.
