Thanks for visiting Tea Time with Marce
When you are in the mood and have time for networking, a fun way would be to participate in the Blog Hop over at Jennifer's blog Crazy for Books.
Are you a book blogger? Are you a reader? Then welcome to the place where all of us connect over the weekend and chat about books!
This week's question:
“What is your favorite spooky book (i.e. mystery/suspense, thriller, ghost story, etc.)?”
These are my favourite genres, I am excited to see the answers and add to my Wishlist.
I immediately think of these 2........
Relic by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child
and
The Restorer by Amanda Stevens

I haven't read either of those books. I'm afraid my book won't go on your wish list - it's and oldie but a goodie!

Relic is my book club selection for this month! I haven't started it yet, but I'm looking forward to it even more now. I haven't read The Restorer, but it's on my tbr list.
ReplyDeleteOoooooo the cover to The Restorer just LOOKS creepy!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blog Hop!
I have noticed that The Restorer has appeared on a few posts. I may need to go and pick it up.
ReplyDeleteMy choice is here: http://killie-booktalk.blogspot.com/2011/10/book-blogger-hop-9.html

have a nice weekend.
The Restorer looks really good, love the cover.
ReplyDeleteI loved The Restorer! Just the right kind of spookiness, with ghosts, cemeteries, and a mystery.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read either of these books. Will have to check them out.
ReplyDeleteThe Restorer looks really good, I'm going to have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
I'm so glad THE RESTORER made your list too! I'm looking forward to the second book in the series next March.
ReplyDeleteThe Restorer was quite spooky. I ended up naming my second blog through a word I saw there "winged effigy." The statues were a bit like the creepy angels in Dr. Who.

The Restorer sounds like a great book. I'll have to add it to my TBR list. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteGreat choices! I've seen Amanda Stevens on many bloggers' lists. I have her in my TBR but haven't read her yet. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI want to read The Restorer, I have seen that on a few list! :)
ReplyDeleteIntriguing choices, they look like good, spooky books!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of either of those, but the covers both look creepy! Since I was little, if a book cover creeps me out too much I can't even have it in the same room as me at night!
ReplyDeleteI loved The Restorer too!
ReplyDeleteOh and I really love your Bloody Tea Time badge. :)
I love the cover of The Restorer! I haven't read many books in these genres since I'm a complete coward, but I'm determined to (eventually) be ok with reading these types of books.
ReplyDeleteThe restorer looks really good...Never heard of the Relic...must read. Thanks for coming by. Following cos you have tea in the name.
ReplyDeleteI'm way too exited to find another Mystery/Thriller/Suspense lover. *waves*
ReplyDeleteBoth of your books look real creepy.
I missed out the word "spooky" in the question. I realized it yesterday and had to change my answer. You can hop back to check it out (that is, if you're not very busy).
Have a great weekend ahead!

Hi hi, returning the visit :)
ReplyDeleteI think you're right, horror books are not as good as movies, but it's worth the try... if done right, a book can be a lot scarier than a movie, so with a little bit of luck, I will find one that gives me permanent goosebumps!
love your blog badge! it's so creepy and adorable at the same time!
cheers
Hello! Thanks for hopping by my blog! Sorry about the late return visit. I have been horribly busy with my job.
ReplyDeleteNice post!
I have to be part of this chat. I love to talk about books, however is very difficult to find people with the same passion, most of people find books boring and more boring.
