I completed The Kid, well actually it was a DNF

I want to read these in the next few weeks, all favourite authors from last year and last month.

  1. This week I am finishing Diane Chamberlain's book "The Midwife's Confession" I am in the middle of it right now, and next book on my stack to read is what looks like a fun summer book to read by Barbara Delinsky, "The Summer I Dared." That's it for this week.

  3. I had a DNF this week too, I have been trying to read a pdf book on my computer and there are just too many distractions, I was getting no where. Will wait for a paperback copy of pray for a kindle for Christmas. :)

  4. Someone Else's Son sounds intriguing. But then you always have books that I would like.

  6. I heard the Kid is a very hard - emotionally to read. I'd be interested in hearing why you put it down and why you DNF.

  12. I'm going to visit your reviews for Wells' titles .. they look pretty awesome. I've read that The Kid is not as great as Push was, for a number of reasons, so I haven't put that one on my list, either. I had a difficult time getting into the Sommer titles-I know that quite a few really like this series, but it wasn't for me. The Dolan and Hayes titles look wonderful! I hope you enjoy your reading week!
