Thriller Review - Twisted by Andrea Kane
Andrea Kane is amazing with her pace, every page keeps you captivated, and every chapter matters, as you read it makes you feel like you are a part of the dangerous and shocking investigation. This was my first by her and I look forward to reading more by A. Kane.
Everything I love about a book was included – great story line, passion from the characters, on the edge of your seat with suspense from the dangerous feeling of what will happen next and I didn’t figure out the killer, I totally had the wrong person.
The Serial Killer speaks throughout the book and just leaves a chilling feeling on you, sick twisted mind, at the end you completely understand how Kane chose “Twisted” as the title.
The main character Sloan, an ex FBI agent is employed as a consultant now and is hired to find a childhood friend. Sloan is surprised by who she has to work with...... Derek, an ex lover , who is a FBI agent that becomes in charge of the investigation. This meeting was the start of the intense dynamics between them, a great romance, not too much to take away from the thriller, their relationship was captivating while they worked in and out of the bedroom.
When all starts to connect you are so excited to be a part of it (really it makes you feel like you are there. GREAT GREAT READ!!!!! Highly recommend.
I can totally see this as a movie, it gave me the same feeling ‘Silence of the Lambs’ gave me when I watched it.

My teaser is........ a Thriller, Twisted by Andrea Kane (BTW the best thriller I have read this year, I highly recommend for thriller/mystery fans.)
"That's enough, there's no point in going over an entire year of surgeries and physical therapy. I think I answered your question about why knives freak me out."

Booking Through Thursday - Weeding Your Library
Posted by Deb, come join in and give your answer. http://btt2.wordpress.com/2009/10/15/weeding/#comments
As much as I love books I only keep my favourites of each year and all Mary Higgins Clark's as she is my favourite author.
I just moved earlier this year and it was bitter sweet. There will always be 1 book that you have to read again right away. 'Dibs, Search of Self" was the one for me.
I have read lots of good books but I give them to friends after, if I'm not going to read them no point in keeping is my thought. Many that I will not keep in my collection I always give to charity. Throw away books (gasp) is right. Only if they are so old the musty smell says 'throw me away'.

We’re moving in a couple weeks (the first time since I was 9 years old), and I’ve been going through my library of 3000+ books, choosing the books that I could bear to part with and NOT have to pack to move. Which made me wonder…
When’s the last time you weeded out your library? Do you regularly keep it pared down to your reading essentials? Or does it blossom into something out of control the minute you turn your back, like a garden after a Spring rain?
Or do you simply not get rid of books? At all? (This would have described me for most of my life, by the way.)
And–when you DO weed out books from your collection (assuming that you do) …what do you do with them? Throw them away (gasp)? Donate them to a charity or used bookstore? SELL them to a used bookstore? Trade them on Paperback Book Swap or some other exchange program?

Not my CUP of tea....... Erotica Books
Watch the video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ksn5uIGWUBg
Is it your Cup of Tea? Yes or No, please post comments.
Book related on topic - Do you enjoy reading erotica? If yes please recommend a favourite.
Here is mine. The Gift of Shame part of the Book Lace Group.
It was classy and gave me all I could ask for, great sex scenes with suspense and romance. I loved the way the BDSM lifestyle was portrayed, just devine. This is a private library keeper, I will read again. This was my first Black Lace book but I was so excited to read it, have read others and was let down but this one I gave 5 stars.

Oct 3 - It's My BIRTHDAY
Friday night I went to dinner with 7 of my close girlfriends. We went to Fresco's, my favourite restaurant in Bermuda.
Today I had a hot stone massage and just checked into Newstead, Belmont Hills. Awwww the wonderful relaxation life.
Beautiful view I have outside the window as I look from laying across the bed.
Birthday's, got to love them.
