It's Monday What Are Your Reading?

Book Date now hosts It's Monday What Are Your Reading?  The meme that we use to share what we read this past week and what our plans are for the upcoming week.  It's a great way to see what others are reading and add to your own To Be Read List.

I'm currently reading

The movie will be out in September.

I completed but need to review.  I love JT Elllison

I completed and reviewed

Book club read - Boys in the Boat, I couldn't into it, but thanks to you guys I was able to tell one of the ladies to listen to it and she loved the audio book.

This one is starting to speak to me, it might just be my next read

  1. I liked Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children but didn't love it like most people have. One of my doctors said her daughter LOVES the series.

  2. I had Miss Peregrine's on my TBR mountain but kept setting it aside for other choices. I donated it to my High School Media Center. I expect it will gain new popularity when the movie comes out. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  3. Nice books, Marce!
Miss Peregrine, never read it but have seen it all around. I didn't know it was to be a movie.
I read that JT Ellison, of course, I read them all and recommend them all. Amanda Stevens, I read the first two of that series, and I have that Bohjalian ebook but haven't gotten to it. I hope you enjoy it!

  4. I've heard Miss Peregrine's is really good, but I've yet to try it. I've also heard good things about The Guest Room - another author I haven't tried yet. Enjoy!

  5. I have been very curious about the Miss Peregrine's books...and now that a movie is coming, well...must ponder!

I loved a book by J. T. Ellison recently, my first (No One Knows), so I'm off to check out Edge of Black.

And I LOVED The Guest Room. Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES

  6. I read the first Miss Peregrine and really enjoyed it. The pictures really make it. The second one was horrible, needless to say I didn't read the third. I think the movie will do well though as it's more about the pictures trying to match up to the story and of course that works better for a movie than a book.

  7. I've got the Miss Peregine book here, but haven't read it yet. The trailer for that movie is so interesting. I suspect I'll want to see it. And I should pick up the book and read it too. Those pictures - wow.

  8. I didn't know Miss Peregrine was being made into a movie! More motivation to read the book first... I enjoyed the audio version of The Boys in the Boat, but am not sure I could have made it through in print.
