I sense that I'm naturally a right-handed person, but my right arm belongs to Ruby for all intents and purposes (when I was little I thought the term was :intensive purposes") so I'm a reluctant lefty. My clumsiness annoys Ruby, who is both responsible and blameless.

This is good so far, I have to remind myself it is a Novel and not a memoir, amazing actually.  I look forward to your teaser(s).

Book Summary

The fictional autobiography of conjoined twins, Rose and Ruby Darlen – a breathtaking novel about the profound and transcendent love between two extraordinary sisters.

  1. I felt indifferent about this book. There were many things I liked about it, but also a couple of things I did not. Hope you end up liking it though! :)

  2. Good teaser! Not sure it's my kind of read, but it's an interesting idea for a novel. Hope you enjoy the rest of it!

  3. Good teaser. I kind of thought it was about conjoined twins from the teaser. LOL, when I was younger I thought it was intensive purposes too.

  4. Please repost whatever you commented on my blog today Marce. I have a neurological disorder and my stiff fingers accidentally hit delete instead of publish before I even read it :(
Thanks--will be posting my Teaser shortly! Rae

  6. I think this book sounds interesting, and plan on adding it to my TBR pile. I wonder if the idea came from the maybe 20 years old conjoined twin girls by now. I saw on TV a few years ago. They had just reached their 16th birthday, and went for their drivers license, which they past the test and received their license. It was quite an interesting show. I haven't seen them lately.

  9. This book sounds like it must be a very emotional yet thought provoking read. Definitely not your usual type of genre so will be on the look out for your review. BTW...The sequel for Moonlight Rises will be out in Sept., thought you would be intersted in knowing.

This book has been on my to-read list for a long time now. It sounds fascinating and unusual with the conjoined twins. I look forward to seeing what you think of it when you're done!

  14. Wow, what an interesting teaser! Don't you love it when books are so emotion filled and "real" that they almost read like memoirs? I look forward to your review of this!
