Happy Monday, Happy July 4th, Happy Belated Canada Day

Book Date now hosts It's Monday What Are Your Reading?  The meme that we use to share what we read this past week and what our plans are for the upcoming week.  It's a great way to see what others are reading and add to your own To Be Read List.

I'm currently reading a favourite author

I just completed and loved the latest from a favourite series.

I reviewed and cannot recommend, please read another by her instead.  My Review

I teased myself by mistake, eek

I saw a FREE 5 chapters of this one so I downloaded it as I usually just start with a sample of Kindle books.  Well......... I was hooked ready to go on and guess what, it releases on August 9, 2016.  I have to wait another month, ugggh, I totally teased myself.  I can't wait to figure what the heck happens Behind Closed Doors.

What has been your favourite book of the year so far?  Please tell me in the comments.  Here is mine.

My Review

I hope everyone enjoys there week.

  1. I have "Inside the O'Briens" but I haven't read it yet. I've read two of Genova's other books and really loved them, though.

  2. I have heard some good comments about Inside the O'Briens and have dithered about reading it because of its content but will most likely get there.

  3. I haven't read a Lisa Genova book yet. My book club is reading Still Alice this fall so I guess I'll finally be able to say I've read one of her books.

  4. I read Still Alice and Left Neglected by Lisa Genova. I had started The O'Briens last year from the library but wound up returning it before I finished. I hope you enjoy it.

I read two Andrea Kane books a few years ago recommended by you-- The Girl Who Disappeared Twice and The Line Between Here and Gone. I remember enjoying them though.

Have a good week at work and home!

  6. I really liked INSIDE THE O'BRIENS. I think Lisa Genova puts a face to many tragic illnesses and helps us understand them better.

  9. I can't do those teasers and never read the excerpts from the next book that is frequently at the end of series books. I am not at all good at waiting for the rest. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  19. I have Inside the O'Briens on my unread shelf - I've been loving Lisa Genova's work since delving in to them, but being particular and wanting to read them in order means I've had to wait to get my hands on Love Anthony before reading Inside the O'Briens. I've been itching to pick that title up for a good few weeks now, so caved a couple of days ago actually and purchased Love Anthony, so I'm sure Lisa Genova will be featuring on my blog sometime this month too. I hope you're enjoying the book!

  20. It would bug me so much if I got so caught up in a book and then cannot read it until a month or so later. Ugh! Hope this month flies by for you.
