  12. I read a review of Cinderella a while back & posted it under interesting books here-

I haven't read it yet but it sounded very interesting especially as a mother with 4 daughters. Society has twisted the meaning of pretty in pink that's for sure.

We Need To Talk About Kevin sounds very powerful. I always wondered what the parents of the Columbine killers thought and others who have suffered with the same guilt and hurt when you have a child that goes on a rampage.

  16. I'm not sure about Urban Fantasy either. I keep trying, but I have a feeling it's just not my thing.

  17. My favorite author, Charles de Lint, writes urban fantasy, but somehow I don't read much of it other than his work. Somehow the rest of the genre seems so different from what he does. He writes realistic female characters and the women bursting out of their tops on the other covers I've seen in urban fantasy just turn me right off. Sorry it didn't work for you. Hopefully all of this week's books will be better!

  18. Enjoy your books. I had another quiet week of reading. School and nanowrimo are eating up a lot of my spare reading time. Please come see what I'm reading.

  19. I've read (and reviewed) Death Notice. The others are new to me. Nice mixed bunch of books. Enjoy them all.
